Tins Day. (Before His Worship the Alayor and J. Brown, Fsq., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. Anne Walking and John O’Loughlin alias Walkins, were each lined 5s ; Guliemus Theodore was mulcted in the sum of 15s, for breaking a door at t e Artillery Hotel. UNFOUNDED CHIRCK. Alichacl Burke was charged with stealing a brooch, the property of Susan Austin, a notorious prostitute. The evidence left little doubt that she had given the brooch to Burke, who was discharged, the Bench stating that he left the Court without a stain on his character. THEFT. Agnes Weir, the girl who was charged yesterday with stealing a petticoat, was sentenced to 48 hours’ imprisonment.
