(FROM GREVILLE’s TELEGRAM COMPANY, REUTER’S AGENTS.) Auckland, July 11. The weather has been very stormy, with terrific squalls of hail and rain during the past week. Two fatal accidents occurred of drowning. The road from Auckland to Napier is now open. The Earl and Countess Bel more returned to Sydney by the Hero on Saturday. Hoskins and Miss Colville, after a most successful season at the Thames, returned to Auckland, and are performing to crowded houses. All mining stock has still a downward tendency. Caledonians sold to-day at £IOO ; Thames, at £22 ;Tookey at <£24. The Caledonians pay L 6 dividend tomorrow. The total amount of gold from the Thames during the month amounted to 34,000 ounces. The Alburnia completed the fortnight’s crushing to-day, the result being 989 ozs.
