Adams, the purser, was taken up on suspicion but has since been released, another party being suspected. The Royal Alfred brought from the Thames to-day 20,500 ounces of gold. The Caledonians have declared a dividend of LI 5, the Thames of L2 10s, and Alburnia of 10s. There is no alteration in prices of shares. The Thames, Tookeys, and Caledonians, are firmly held. A child of Mr. Moses, of the Thames, was accidentally poisoned yesterday.

Also in favor of a petition to the Assembly to pass an amended Act to restrict the sum apportioned under the Act of 18G7 to harbor works only, and if the Board failed within six months to carry out the work to appoint commissioners.
