(from grevillk’s telegram company, reuter’s agents.) Queenstown, June 22. The late insolvencies and impending ones create much distrust. Business is very depressed, but confidence is felt in the future, as the mining returns are good. Wood’s dredge obtained 200 ozs. for two days work; and Qreave’s dredge 370 ozs. for the same time. Barton’s dredge is doing well.
