In breadstuff's' the market has been, steady throughout the week, and although last reports show a rather quieter aspect iu Australia, there has been no change with us. Parcels of good milling wheat are become scarce, and the small quantity that has been Offered -within the last week has induced, no competition, sales still being made from 5s 9d to 5s lOd per bushel. We observe that a good proportion of late deliveries have been rejected—not being up to sample. Oats remain as last quoted, with no appearance of improvement. Inferior and discoloured barley is available in large quantities, but there are no purchasers. Malting samples are wanted, and 4s -to 4s 3d is quoted. The trade demand for fiour has been very brisk, especially for country and coast requirements. Sales arc limited to five to ten ton lota, and for which the price is firm at LI 5. Wheat, 5s 9d to 5s lOd. Oats, 2s 3d to 2s sd. Barley, malting, 4a, 4e 3d ; feeding, 2s, 2s 3d. Flour, LIS. Pollard and bran, including bags, L 4 10s. Oatmeal, Ll4 10s. PI. barley, L2O. Potatoes, L 3.
