This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) dru.vkkn.vkss. James Watson alias Thomas Watson, was charged with disorderly conduct in Princesstreet. Fined 20s.—William Feodor alias Billy the Frenchman was charged with like conduct and fined 10s. —Donald M'Kechnie was brought up on a similar charge and fined 10s. —Martin M‘Mahon was fined 10s, and Robert Scott was discharged with a caution. INTERFERING WITH PRISONERS. - John Snow was brought up on a charge of throwing tobacco to prisoners on the works in Walker street, on the sth inst., contrary to the Act, and was fined £5 or 14 days imprisonment with hard labour. THE CASE OF CHARLES GREEN. Charles Green, landlord of the “ Octagon Hotel ” again appeared In answer to the charge of harbouring prostitutes in his licensed house, and after the hearing of the case, was discharged with a caution from the mayor.
