The Chinese passengers, per Minnie Graham, for Hong Kong, were conveyed alongside by the Golden Ago at noon to-day. The p.s. Wallace arrived from Molyneux during the night, and sailed this forenoon for Oamaru. , The water was let into the Graving Dock last evening for the purpose of floating the Taranaki, so as to allow her rudder to be unshipped for examination and repairs, which precaution was highly necessary, as the ruader was required to be re-welded. The work is being executed by Messrs Morgan and M ‘Gregor and Messrs Easton and M'Gregor, of the Port. The vessel will in consequence be detained a little longer in dock than was at first anticipated.
