Captain Frazer reports proceeding on the voyage as far south an Gull Rock, when, meeting a mountainous sea, and finding that tho gale was increasing in violence, he put back to the shelter of the Heads, and in company with the Beautiful Star, anchored inside the Heads. The s.s. Tairoa, for the Molynenx, Is also detained in Port by the gale. The ketch Edinburgh, for Invercargill, remains at anchor outside the Heads.
