The Tanranga mail route is no nearer settlement than it was a month «g°. A portion cf the Avreck of the Tavilight has been recovered. Another boat accident lias occurred in the harbor, a man Avliose name is not given being droAvned. Arrived—Alexandriua, from London, eighty-eight days out; Waverley, from Adelaide, Avith a cargo of wheat. The Waverley reports that two barques are loading grain at Adelaide for Auckland. Several new claims at the Thames are yielding well. Caledonians are declining—they Avere sold to-day at LI 10 ; Thames’s fetched L‘2o • Tookeys, LI4, and rising ; Prince Imperials, L 4 10s ; Cures, L 24 ; Moan,atavis, L 4. The Caledonian Company will probably pay a dividend of LlO on Tuesday next.
