Captain Kennedy reports having left Wellington at 9 a.m. on Friday last, arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday evening, left at midnight and experience I moderate weather until 1 a.m. this morning, when a heavy southerly gale was met, which continued till arrival. The Wellington is to bo taken into the floating dock to-morrow morning, and having been thoroughly cleaned and painted will be placed on the east coast trade, calling at all the ports between here and Auckland.
