tenced to one month’s hard labour. Anne Sherry was fined L 5 or three months hard labor for using abusive language, OFFENCE AGAINST THE EVE LAWS. Alonzo Greu ‘an George Kobeits and George M’Lauchlnn were each fined 6s. and costs for furious driving. John Duncan, Is. and costs, chimney on file ; John Bryant, no lights to dray, dismissed with a caution. Diehard Pearson, butcher, York-place, was charged with slaughtering in an unlicensed place. After hearing the evidence Bench stated that seeing that the informant (John Walsh), had some animosity towards the defendant, and as they had a doubt as to the cise itself, they decided to dismiss it.
