Tararua, from Melbourne via the B’uff, arrived at 11.30 this forenoon. She only proceeds as far as Lyttelton this trip. The s ». Maori, from Invercargill, arrived yesterday afternoon, and proceeded to Dunedin tills afternoon. The p.s. Wallace, from Oamaru, arrived in the evening. The two new fore-and-aft schooners—Edward for Invercargill, and Eliza M ‘Phee for Oamaru—saile I last evening. The twin screw-steamer Pretty Jane, having been thoroughly cleaned and painted outside, was taken out of the Floating Dock last evening. The schooner Alice, recently employed in the Waikouaiti trade, was removed from Dnnedin to Carey’s Bay last evening, for the purpose of receiving an overhaul. The cutter Result, from Waikouaiti, passed up this forenoon. We understand that the s. s, Wellington, shortly expected, is likely, on arrival, to be placed into the Floating Dock, to receive the usual periodical overhaul. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. ARRIVED.
