Evening Star Office, Saturday evening. The amount of revenue received at the Cus-tom-house on goods cleared for consumption to-day, was £127 Is Od. A. The following Is our report of the produce market for the week ending to-day:—Wheat, 4s 9d; oats, 2s 4d to 2s Od ; barley, malting 3s 6d to 4s ; feeding, 2s to 2s fid ; flour, Ll3 in sacks, Ll3 10s in bags ; bran and pol ard, L 4 10s, including bags ; pearl barley, L2O ; oatmeal, Lls; potatoes, L 3; straw, L2 10s ; hay, L 4 10s; carrots, L2 10s; turmps, L2 10s; onions, Lll; chaff, L 4 Driver, Stewart, and Co.’s report for the week ending April 29 hat stock : The market was largely supplied, about 2500 sheep and 25 head of cattle having been yarded, but all were cleared at prices ranging from 4s 6d for ewes to 7* 3d for prime wethers ; and L 6 10s to L 7 15s for cattle say 17s 6d per lOOlbs. Store sheep: The demand has been weaker, and wo have not heard of any changing hands. We quote mixed lambs at 3s 6d to 3s 9d each; wethers, 2, 4, 6, and 8 tooth, at 4s 6d to 4s 9d. Wool: We catalogued about 150 hales for sole on Wednesday, of which upwards of 100 bales weie disposed of at full rates. Store cattle : No transactions to report. Messrs Driver, Stewart, and Co favor us with their price catalogue of Otago and Southland wools sold in London at the February series of sales, up to date of the departure of last mail, but its length prevents our publishing it.
