Omeo, from Melbourne via the Bluff, arrived early this morning. Her passengers, mails, &c., were conveyed to Dunedin by the Harbor Company’s steamers shortly after arrival. The 8.8. Rangatira, for Northern Ports, the p.s. Wallace, for Oamaru, the ketch Annie, for Moeraki, and the cutter Result, for Waikouaiti, sailed this forenoon. The brigantine Swordfish, for Lyttelton, was towed from Dunedin, and anchored at the Port this forenoon. the 8.8. Beautiful Star, which arrived yes terday from her noithem trip with rudderhead carried away, was placed in the floating dock last night at U p.m. The necessary repairs were entrusted to Messrs Morgan ana M‘Gregor ; and so expeditiously was the work performed, that the steamer was enabled to be taken out of the dock and proceed to Dunedin by this morning’s flood. The Chinese passengers ex ship North Star, which arrived yesterday at the Hoads, and was last night towed in to an anchorage, were conveyed to Dunedin by the Golden Ago this morning.
