Our Auckland telegrams continue to tell of the increasing riehnc<s of tiiL mine, which will be easily understood by the following particulars culled from laic Auckland papers. The trushings of the various claims on the Thames for March gave an ageregato yield far in excess of any previous return for too same period. There wove 8,799 lens or stone crushed, which yielded 45,2 d!) ozs. 11 dwts., or 14.460 ozs. 14 dwts. over ihc yield for February. Of this quantity tnc Calc lonian Claim turned out 83,00'.) ozs. The following is the quantity of ihc gold to the Bank of New Zealand by this mine, as well as the prices realised oz. dwt. gr. £ s. d. Some of them were of immense nze. One huge block weighed over 2 cwt., and w/8 of such a rich character as to throw the splendid bock of sloae exhibited last week entirely into the shade. At a rough calculation, its value may be estimated at 1*3,000. Many of tin other blocks, although not so I vgo a? this one, were proportionately rich. —Jic lnrtiser, April 5.
