At to-clay’s races, Yatteriua won the Town Plate of 30 sovs, Lacenfeed being second; Slander the Criterion Stakes of 30 sovs, Yulcan being second ; Slander the Pree Handicap, with Lacenfeed second ; and Magenta the Consolation Stakes of 30 sovs, with a sweep of 3 sovs. ’lf was raining all day, and the races were gifts to the Auckland horses. Peeress is at Hokitika, Lacenfeed is lame, and there were no horses in Nelson fit to run. Hokitika, April 13. The reception of the Governor yesterday was excellent. There was a grand procession of volunteers, friendly societies, ail'd .citizens; and in the evening. .the toyn was illuminated. An amdress levee is now proceeding.
