A large number of persons have visited the wreck of the Hindu. The sale of the wreck takes place to-mor-row. Tim.vru, March 31. The Governor left for Christchurch this morning ; he was accompanied by Captain Pitt and Judge Ward. Napier, March 31. A scratch match took place between ten of the Southern representatives and nine No pier representatives. The former made 325 points; the latter 253. The highest scorers were— Buchanan, of Otago, for the South, with 43 ; and Williams, for Napier, with 37. It was blowing a gale during the time the match was fired.
