WASTE LAND BOARD.
The Waste Lain! Board met yesterday. It was resolved that a form of application should be forwarded to Mr U. Mohinson in reference to the sale of land in the Traquair Hundred. Mrs Luggau’s application to purchase a quarter acre section at Fairfax on which her house is built was referred to the Ranger for report. Mr J. Manning’s request for protection r or a seam of lignite discovered at Waipori was granted. The resolution of the Executive Council that the Ranger should be iiisir.icned to remove all unlicensed stock off Traquair Hundred was approved. Plans of i’ecbles and Blocks 3, G, and 7 Waipahu, were approved. It was resolved to withhold from sale the land in the Wairuna and Crookstou Hundreds until the pre-emptive rights be applied for.
