The barque Acacia from Hobart Town is yet outside, as the gale has moderated she "Will very probably get in on the evening’s flood. Four vessels supposed to be the Lloyd’s Herald from Gatlin’s River, the Mary Ring from the Bluff, the Acacia from Hobart Town, and tho lismoro from Launceston, Were beating up the cross channel at four o'clock. From a private source we learn the Norwegian vessel Hindoo drove on shore at River ton beach on last Sunday night, and that tho vessel is likely to become a wreck. The cargo is expected to he saved, though damaged. Since the above was written wo learn th't the Hindoo was from Foo-chow foo, and is consigned to Messrs Cargills and M‘Lean. She went ashore about three miles south of the New River Bead, and is a total wreck.
