THE Government having been empowered by special Acts of the Legislature to enter into contracts for Insurances on Lives, and for the grants of Annuities and Endowments, are now prepared to execute any of the usual contracts dependent upon the contingencies of human life. The Rules and Regulations framed under the Acts of the Legislature have been drawn up in a liberal spirit, and hold out. f r many obvious reasons, greater advantages than can be obtained elsewhere.
