DRUNKENNESS. John Mowe and John Burns were each fined 5s ; and James Scrimgeour 40s.
WIFE DESERTION,
John O'Malley was ordered to pay 10s a week towards the support of his wife and family In connexion with this case, wc i’egret that a mistake which occurred in our report on Saturday should have caused annoyance to tho defendant. It was then stated in error that lie was further.charged with obtaining money under false pretences. Tho person actually char;cd with that offence was one William Chr.stie,
