TRUNK AND DISORDERLY
Robert Steven, for drunkenness, was fined 10s, or 24 hours’ imprisonment; G. Brimton, for a like offence, 5s and costs.
OFFENCES AGAINST THE RYE-LAWS.
James .Muir, for al'owing a mare to wander, was fined 2s fid. The charge against Colburne, for plying for hire without his cab being licensed, was adjourned. Arthur Flood, plying for hire without a license, ss. The following persons were fined for the offences mentioned: —Gray, leaving a horse and cait una'tended, ss; F. Needham, not keeping his premises clean, 2s fid ; W, Hall, unlawfully plying for hire, dismissed ; Alex. Murray and John Barkley, on a similar charge, were ordered to take licences out for all his dray; John M'Courie, for hawking goods without a license, was fined 2s fid and cost CHARGE or STEALING FRUIT. A boy J^bederi ck Holmes was charged with stealingsapples, the property of E. Hulmo. with a cant on. ' _ :j
