This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor, and the Hon, Dr Buchanan.) drunkenness. Thomas Johnston was discharged with a caution; David Moncrieflf was fined IQs; John Langmuiv Smith 20s j and Mary Jarvey 40s or 14 clays’ imprisonment. THEFT. Alex. M‘Guinness was charged with stealing some articles of wearing apparel from the dwelling of Joseph Cairncross, Walker street. As no felonious intent was apparent he was discharged. John Munro was charged with stealing money fom the cutter Jane. He was remanded until to-morrow.
