Government Annuities Office, Wellington, Ist Dec., 1870, NOTICE is hereby given that Governmeni Insurance and Annuities Offices, unde] “The Government Annuities Act, 1869,’ and “ The New Zealand Government Insur ance and Annuities Act, 1870,” have beer opened at DUNEDIN, Port Chalmers, Bal clutha, Clyde, Lawrence, Oamaru, Queens town, Tokomairiro, Waikouaiti, and all tin principal Money Order Offices in tin Colony. The following advantages are secured bj special provisions in the above-mentionec Acts : 1. Up to a certain amount, Assurance Po licies bona fide effected by th< Assured upon, his own life, and En dowment Policies, and Annuities pur chased for the benefit of Wife or Chil dren, are exempted from the operatior of Bankruptcy Acts, and from seizure under legal proems. 2. Up to a certain amount, Hurried Women may effect Policies and dis pose of the money assured by will, ai if single; and such Policies are fra from the debts and control of thcii husbands. 3. Insurances may be effected for the bene tit of Wife and Children, with power tc apportion amount; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of credi tors, to the extent of L 2,000. All persons wishing to obtain Lifo Insurances, Endowments, Annuities, immediate or deferred, or other advantages under the Acts, will receive every information and the nccessaiy forms on application at anj of the above-named offices, W.
