MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS. Sophia Austin was fined 40s, or 14 days' imprisonment; and for having no v sible lawful moans of support was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labor. THEFT. Alexander F. Hickey, on remand, was charged with stealing a quantity of champagne from the Naval Brigade’s pinnace 1 lefence. The charge was fully proved, and he was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labor. NEGLECTED CHILD. John Hickey was charged with being a neglected child. It was intimated that the bo3'’s father had undertaken to support him, and the charge was consequently withdrawn.
