Tuis Dav. (Before his Worship the iMayor.) DItUN K LN NESS. Margaret Stewart was fined ss; Jane Proctor and James Brown, 10s each ; and Robert Reynolds was discharged with a caution. THEFT. Margaret Hickey, for stealing L2 IGs from the person of G. A. Rose, in a brothel off Walker street, was sentenced to a week’s imprisonment. STEALING M(UIT. Benjamin Parker, a lad, was charged with stealing fruit from the garden of Mr James Wilson. He expressed great contrition, and, after being reprimanded, 'was put into the box, and gave evidence against the other boys who were-charged with a similar offence —viz., Wm. Johnston, Win. Perry, Ephraim Parker, Robert Campbell, and Charles Parker. Mr Wilson having declined to press the charge, and the boys having promised not to offend in a like manner again, they were discharged with a caution.
