A groat meeting to celebrate the permissive clause in the Licensing Bill takes place to-night. The Superintendent, the Executive, and members of the Provincial Council will be present. The Caledonian Claim yielded for eight days 509(5 ounces. One thousand ounces are on hand for next week. A dividend of L 5 per share was declared.
Ten shillings dividend was declared by the Thames Mining Company. An extraordinary find at the low level iu the Nonpareil Company’s Claim was made to-day.
