A NUISANCE.
To the Editor of the Evening Star, c ir, —l saw it stated in a Canadian newspaper the other day, t .at the streets in a certain city out west were so filthy that the Inapcct ir of Nuisances wore a clothes peg on his mse. I would like t ) know if the Inspector of Nuisances in Dunedin has any nose to hang a clothes peg on? The precincts of the gaol in Stuart street suggests the question. Enquirer.
