SAILED Nelson: Jan. 12, late, Stormbird for Dunedin. The schooner Caledonia from Kakanui arrived early this monmlg. We are informed that loading of _ the wool freight on board the ship Grace Gibson was completed during the night. The s.s. Maori sailed last evening with passengers and cargo for Lyttelton and intermediate ports. The ketch Annie arrived from the Coast at dusk last evening. The p.s. Wallace for Oamaru with passengers and cargo sailed this forenoon. The ship Chile from Timaru arrived at the Heads this morning and sailed up to the anchorage this afternoon. The s.s. Alhambra for Melbourne via Northern Ports, sailed at 2 p.m. this afternoon. Her passengers were conveyed on board by the Peninsula shortly before sailschooner Alice was last week placed on Mr Fletcher’s slip in Carey’s Bay, and having undergone the usual periodical overhaul is now lying at the Port. We understand that she will shortly resume her active duties in the coasting trade.
