(Before his Worship the Mayor and J. Hughes, Esq., J.P.) NEKLECI'ED CHILD. Thomas Gately was sent to the Industrial School for two years, to be brought up in the Roman Catholic religion. A charge of stealing timber preferred against him was in consequence dismissed. BIIIJJR OFFENCES. Duncan M‘Pariane was fined 5s and costs for allowing a oow to wander. A charge of keeping a house frequented by reputed tire res preferred against Ellen Fitzgerald by Charles Cooper was dismissed, and the case pf the Police v. Cutten adjourned until Tuesday.
