MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and J. Hughes, Esq., J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. Catherine Wilkinson and Catherine Brown, two old offenders, were each fined 20s, or 14 days ; and for being habitual drunkards, were each sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. NEGLECTED CHILD. Helen Thompson, the child of the prisoner Brown, was sent to the Industrial School for seven years, to be brought up in the Presbyterian form of religion.
