THE SOUTHERN TRUNK RAILWAY.
IDs Honor the Superintendent has received a communication from the General Government, informing him that the Minister of Public Works has received a very favorable offer from Captain Audley Coote for the construction of the 01 nth a portion of the Southern Trunk Railway on guarantee, and that they have invited him to come over to confer with them immediately. The Government have decided in the meantime, in order that there may be no delay, to invite tenders for immediately going on with certain portions of the line on cash terms.
