Criminal. —The following prisoners •were last evening received into 11. M. gaol. Dunedin, from Switzers, viz,, Benjamin Lyons, cook, sentenced to six months’ hard labor by John Nugent Wood, Esq., for stealing a silver watch ; and Ah Shan, a Chinaman, sentenced by the same magistrate, to twelve months’ hard labor for stealing a gold watch and chain. The olfenco of the prisoner Lyons was committed in the month of March last, and that of the prisoner Ah Shan in December last.
