MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor ami Thomas Dick, Esq., J.P.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. .1, Dickson, for being ilnink and disorderly, was lined Ls,or 14 days’ imprisonment. On another charge of habitual drunkenness, he was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment; and for assaulting sergeant Kadcn, three months’ imprisonment with hard labor. The sentencen to be cumulative. DISORDERLY HOUSE. Susan Austin and Christina Stuart, for unlawfully occupying a ’house in Stafford street frerptented by reputed thieves and prostitutes, were sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labor. INFORMATIONS UNDER THE BYE-LAWS. The following charges of offences against the Byodaws were decided as specified : Ellen Collins, allowing a cow to wander, was fined 5s and co ts; J. M'Lellan, allowing four head of cattle to wander, 10s and costs. The charge against T. C. Galway, of neglecting to keep bis premises clean, v. r as adjourned. ADJOURNMENTS. The charge against E. B. Hammond, of unlawfully selling spirits was adjourned to Saturday, and a warrant was issued for the apprehension of Edward Coonan, charged with using profane language, he having neglected to appear in answer to the summons.
