Napikk, December 1. The Presbyterian Assembly dosed yesterday. 'The llov. Mr Morris, and Dr. Copeland left per .Kecra, for Auckland, last night. Henry Williams, one of the escaped prisoners, was captured by the Maoris, and brought to town last night ; only one, Durecn, is now at large. He has been seen, and his capture is fully expected. Christchurch, December 1. Frauds Jollie, member of the General Assembly for Gladstone., died yesterday. By yesterday’s fire W, D. Barnard, owner of the premises loses LIOO, and M‘Kircher and Company LIOO. There is no evidence as to the cause of the fire.
