(FROM GKEVILLK’s TELEGRAM COMPANY, RKVTEIi’S AGENTS.) Christchurch, November 30. A fire broke out at about two o’clock this morning, in tho stables occupied by George M‘Kercher and Co. A quantity of oats, straw, chaff, and two horses were burned. The firm only just started a new line of coaches on the North Hoad. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Auckland via Napier, November 27. The Local Industries League met yesterday. They have decided to give a course of lectures throughout the country. The Boiling-down Company have agreed to commence operations immediately. The remains of Capt. Weston have been found at Henderson’s Creek, Ho has been missing three years.
