A DENIAL.
To the Editor of the Eceniny Star. Sir. —I observe in your paper of yesterday that a meeting was held at the Shamrock Hotel for political purposes, and that Mr Brodie, Accountant in Bankruptcy, was present. However much Mr Brodie may sympathise with the views of the promoters of that meeting, permit me to give a direct denial to your statement. Mr Brodie was not present. I am, &e., J. B. Bradshaw, Dunedin, Nov. 26.
