MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day, (Before his Worship the Mayor and W. Brnuton, Esq , J.P.) DRUNKENNESS. John Walker was lined ss, and Peter Mathcson 40s, or three days’ imprisonment. MINOR OFFENCE. John Hammond was charged with delivering tobacco to the prisoners at work on the reclaimed land. The case was fully proved ; but as it was a first offence the Bench took a lenient view of it, and imposed a fine of os. OFFENCES AO A INST THE BYE-LAWS. The adjourned case against 0. Armstrong, of having an unregistered dog, was dismissed wdth a caution.
