MAILS CLOSE— For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per s.s. Taranaki, on Friday, the ilth inst., at 10.50 a.m. For Melbourne, Australian Colonies, and Southland per s.s. Rangitoto, on Friday, the 11th Nov., at 1.30 p.m. For Port Molyneux, per Wallace, on Saturday, the 12th inst, at 4.30 p.m. For Oamaru, per p.s. Wallace, on Tuesday, 15th Nov., at 8.45 a.m. For registered letters, money orders, and newspapers, one hour previous to the mail. N.B.—lt is anticipated that mails will be despatched from this office per s.s. Tararua, on or about the 18th inst., to reach Melbourne in time for the P. and O. Company’s steamer of the 6th Dec. ARCH. BARR, Chief Postmaster. Chief Port Office, Dunedin, Nov. 10. 1870.
