CITY ELECTION.
To the Editor of the Evening Star. Sin, —In the Doily Timex of yesterday is a question from '• Enquirer” to Mr Fish, to which he demands a distinct answer without if or but—“ If Mr Fish is returned to the Provincial Council, is he disposed to support the general policy followed by Mr Macaadrew as a who e ? ” Prngro-s requires that not only Mr Fish will do so, if elected, but every other member of the Provincial Council will take an equal interest in the welfare of the Province, and emulate each other in supporting Mr Macaudrew’s exertions. His works bear witness. I am, &c., Elector. Dunedin, October 22.
