RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Tms Day. (Before A. C. Strode, Esq., R. M.) Civil Casks, Taylor v. Forster. —For balance of amount of board and lodging and a cabinet, L 3 l!)s. Vlr Harris for the defendant, who stated that there was an unsatisfied judgment against the plaintiff ■ lying in the Court, the amount of which was greater that the plaintiff’s claim. Evidence was given by an expert, who valued the cabinet at Jos. LI #>s was an excessive charge. The plaintiff said the cabinet was by q person of the name of Woods, whq charged L 3 5 3 for it, and ha himself added ss. Judgment for the defendant. Adjourned to Monday.
