The following report of Dr Hector is the result of the impiiry “No drugs of any kind M ere found iu this beer by the most delicate tests. from the result of the analysis it appears that while the (piantity of solid organic substances in the beer is small, that of the alcohol is undoubtedly high. In respect to the amount of organic or extractive matter, this sample compares with the Belgian ml Darmstadt beers, while in regard to alcohol it nearly approaches to the Burton ales.
