Richard Keenan, alias Dublin Dick, for being drunk and disorderly' in Stafford treot, on the morning of the 27th inst,, was lined ss. Win. AndreAV Thompson, aviis charged Avjth exposing »oods for sale outside his shop Avindow in George street. Defendant had been previously Avurned to take in his goods, but had neglected to do so. He stated that but few goods Averc exposed outside, and those Averc not calculated to obstruct the footpath or hinder traffic in any Avay, but as he had been summoned, lie A\ r as anxious to have the case tried. His Worship : Had you (defend-

ant) taken in the articles when requested to do bo, the case would have been dismissed, but as “you arc anxious to have the case tried,” you will he lined 10s and costs. Richard Pearson was charged with allowing a horse to wander in Cargill street. Defendant said that he had a license to depasture his horses on the Town Belt for the last four years, and this was his lirst o(fence. Both horses and cows frequently grazed where his horse had been found. Case dismissed.
