MAILS CLOSE — Per a.B. Airedale, on Thursday, the Ist Sept., ns under For the Northern Provinces of New Zealand. America, West Indies, &c., the Continent of Europe, and the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 10 a.m. For late letters with late fees as under at 10.30 a.m. : For Northern Ports of New Zealand, 2d per letter. For the United Kingdom, 6d per letter, lor all other places an additional single rate per letter. For newspapers at 8 a.m. For registered letters and issue of money orders at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, the 31st August. N.B.—Mails for the Continent of Europe, the United Kingdom, kc., kc., via Suez, will be despatched from this office, per s.s. Rangitoto, on or about the 31st instant. It is necessary that letters for transmission by this route should bear the address “via Suez.” ARCH. BARK, Chief Postmaster,
