THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS. The polling for Councillors, ■which took place to-day,°ha3 been characterised by an almost utter absence of interest, as compared with paat elections. With the exception of Bell Ward, in which there was a very keen contest, and as a natural consequence a good deal of excitement, the city presented its usual -appearance.
