AT a Meeting of the Electors of the Town of Port Chalmers, held at the Town Hall on Srturday, the 16th July, Hugh M‘Dermid aud Thomas Tayler were duly nominated for the office of Mayor. All further proceedings were then adjourned until Thursday, the 21st July, for the purpose of taking the Poll, which will commence at the Town Hali, at nine o’clock in the forenoon, and close at four o’clock on the afternoon of the same day.
