To tin Editor of the Evening Star
Sir, —I recently observed iu your columns a letter complaining of the conduct of some person or persons at the concert given in the Post Office Hall; but, sir, if you were in the theatre l ist night you must have been very much disgusted with the conduct of some persons who, fron] the position they hold, should have known better I need say n6 : more, as anyone who %vas in the theatre last night will know to whom I allude, and the parties themselves should remember that there were other persons present at. the performances who were greatly annoyed" at the incessant “giggling” going on in a certain part of the house. Yours, & c , James. July 5. [VVe arc in a position to corroborate o.ur corresponddnt’s statement, and hope that his allusion to thia mifcter wiU haye the effipcl of preventing a re retitjopof such conduct in - future. i , , •'
