Sir, —Op rowing yo\U' leaders on the sub. Ject of the injustice about to be imposed on the geueral public in the way of increased dutic’s for the fostering of manufactures, which at present have only an imaginary existence, I would suggest that our financial rulers impose a tax upon all single men say __ above twenty-seven years of age. Such a tax I am sure would meet with general sup. port, especially of the writer with a numerous family, paying taxes in every form.
