MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before I. N. Watt, Esq.,'R.M.', and John Gillies, Esq,, 8.M.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY, J. L. Smith, for drunkenness, was fined 20s, or 48 hours’ imprisonment, REMAND. Kate Grey, on remand, was further re* manded for eight days. PETTY OFFENCES. The following fines were imposed for offences against the Bye-Laws ;—Thomas Thomson, horse watdering, dismissed j Ed. Lambtou, pig wandering in Princes street. Is ; Hunter and Goodfellow, neglecting sufficiently to light a hording round building materials in Dowling street, ss; George Waterhouse, foul chimney, a mitigated fine of 2s fid and costs, the amount being con* sldured sufficiently heavy in view of the de* fendaut’s circumstances.
