(from our own CORRESPONDENT.) Wellington, Juno 20. Iu the Supreme Court to-day, Judge Johnston had all the prisoners who were sentenced at the late sittings brought up, he having discovered that the proceedings were illegal, as the Court sat on a holiday, The judgments have been respited till the 10th of July, The Court of Appeal sits on the 4th prox. .One short-sentenced prisoner was enlarged on bail : the others remain in the custody of the gaoler. The judge said no failure of justice would accrue through the mistake, Auckland, June 18. W. Fagg has been found guilty on a charge of selling arms and ammunition tp the Natives. Sentence was deferred. Much indignation is excited by the delay in the departure of the port of call deputation to Sydney. A report on the subject of dock accommodation has been approvptj by the Chamber of Commerce.
